...The Worcester County Arts Council is a non-profit organization, funded in part through grants from the Maryland State Arts Council, the Worcester County Commissioners and contributions from our membership of approximately 500. The Lawson Family are friends of mine. You'll see some of the Lawson and Embry genealogy on their web site. I work with Cindy at Wor-Wic Community College, and her daughter-in-law, Jamie, sold us our condo in Ocean City. Jamie and her husband, Lee, had their first child, Brock, in July, 2005. Cindy and I are trying to get her bright and lovely teenage daughter, Laura, in some of my lampwork classes, and perhaps some of my jewelry making classes as well.
Creation is Messy...What a great new 104 COE glass! CiM is a new company in the Seattle, Washington area which offers a totally new color palette for 104 COE glass rods and frit. They call it "Messy Color" and have only 6 colors out as of 8/24/06. I played with 4 of them just last night, and let me tell you...they are Scrumptious! You can't buy it everywhere, but I have it, and you can buy it from me. I'll have it listed on my site as soon as I can get some pictures. Want to see it in person? Go to Bead Creation Station in Ocean City. Inspiration Toolworks...Jeff makes the most awesome and unique tools for lampworking, as well as astrology. He's been so kind as to let me be one of his beta testers. I love his tools! |
